Prehistoric Dinosaurs →Prompt
(The crater and the long dusk:1.2) a pterosaur circling a lagoon in a beach of black volcanic sand — posturing with a threat display — as ash begins to fall. a sky split by distant lightning wrong; stagnant air in the drought turning; ancient and ordinary grimly beautiful. (Matte painting, an ash-dimmed world, muted sun). a 35mm at f/4 with dust haze, a wide frame dwarfing the subject's bulk. BREAK mud splashed across the foreground of floating ash; a cracked riverbed of dry plates, silt holding the print of rain grey with fall; a pterosaur chick begging, a turtle crossing the mud, a lizard basking on a warm stone retreating. a forest wall of dark conifers the plume on the whole horizon. a stone swallowed for digestion, a nest of trampled vegetation, an eggshell fragment half-buried, a tooth-mark on a thighbone, a shell bed under ash BREAK light through a translucent membrane, light on a lagoon's mirror embers in the air. (volcanic extinction, prehistoric disaster, cinematic:1.2) paleoart reconstruction, scientifically considered, painted.
